day two: still bloggin' hard

Pals, hello.

So far, I haven't completed any of my goals. That said, I did take the stairs yesterday and today, so I'm on my way.

Here's some excuses and a story about my youth: So, I was really aiming to make an art yesterday, but I guess you could say life got in the way. Laundry was the culprit. And then costume-makin'. And then Wilco-documentary-watchin'. Oh, well. When I was a kid, I fell asleep drawing at my Gramma's house one day. When I woke up, the tip of my pencil had broken off, pierced my supple skin and began floating in my finger. And it's still in there. Lesson is: do not attempt to draw pictures when you are not in the mood/ need a nap.
Furthermore, Jeff Tweedy of Wilco says, "the best laughs never leave your lungs and the best life is art never made." My sentiments exactly.
